The Media Coalition and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) have successfully completed the Campaign for Media Literacy – a fifteen-month project to strengthen and support the democratization of Serbian society by promoting media literacy and independent and accountable journalism.

The USAID SPP lasted six years and worked closely with the High Court Council, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Supreme Court of Cassation, and partner courts on improving court and case efficiency, building financial independence, and increasing transparency.

USAID’S fourth annual survey of 1,000 Serbian businesses found that Serbian executives believe the business environment in Serbia has improved slightly during 2014, though lengthy and expensive regulatory procedures and reduced access to bank finance continue to harm their companies' competitiveness.
Representatives from 17 civil society organizations presented their progress and key achievements made through the Civil Society Forward (CSF) program as well as their future plans to assist and speed up Serbia`s accession to the EU.
