As part of Vietnam’s formal commitment to join the TPP, Vietnam signed the Plan for the Enhancement of Trade and Labor Relations, a bilateral agreement with the United States.
Vietnam earned another four awards in the latest round of the Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER), a U.S. Government (USG) program to fund scientific research in developing countries, bringing the total number of PEER awards won by Vietnamese scientists to 12.
As a result of the UNAIDS 90-90-90 scale-up and recent mobile reach-test-start missions undertaken with PEPFAR and USAID support, the SMART TA project and local partners have been able to identify unmet need for pediatric HIV care and treatment services at the district-level, including in Nghe An Province, where such services were previously only available at provincial-level.
