Under USAID/Mexico’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy, for Fiscal Years 2014-2018, USAID supports the GOM in making the constitutional criminal justice reforms implemented on June 18, 2016 operational and durable.
Under USAID/Mexico‘s Country Development Cooperation Strategy, for Fiscal Years 2014-2018, and as part of the Merida Initiative, USAID is dedicating approximately $90 million to advance crime and violence prevention by increasing collaboration between government, business, academia, and civil society in target cities; strengthening government capacity to design and implement crime and violence prevention policies and plans; and increasing the ability of at-risk youth to play a productive role in their communities.

La Embajada de los Estados Unidos en México, a través de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID), mejora el nivel de tratamiento médico en México. USAID, a través de su oficina de Escuelas y Hospitales en el Extranjero (ASHA), se asoció con el Hospital ABC (American British Cowdray), con el objeto de expandir la prestación e incrementar los servicios del Centro de Tratamiento contra el Cáncer en México.
