Dana Mansuri was appointed Mission Director for USAID/Morocco in August 2013

A career Foreign Service Officer, Ms. Mansuri served as the Mission Director for USAID/Nigeria from 2011 to 2013. Africa’s most populous country and a strategic U.S. partner, Ms. Mansuri was responsible for a budget exceeding $400 million to promote peace and stability, improve governance, foster non-oil economic growth, expand and improve the delivery and quality of education and health services to include prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Over the past 20 years with USAID, Ms. Mansuri has worn a variety of hats. She served as Deputy Mission Director to Jordan from 2006 to 2011, serving the final 9 months of her tour as the Acting Mission Director.  Previous to her assignment in Jordan, Ms. Mansuri served in Morocco from 2001 to 2006 as the Executive Officer completing her final year as the Assistant Director/Program Officer.  Other assignments include Executive Officer in Tanzania and Ethiopia; Program Officer for the Africa Bureau and Project Manager/Information Technology Specialist for the Office of Information Resources Management in Washington DC. 

Prior to working with USAID, Ms. Mansuri was a Project Manager for Executive Resource Associates; a Senior Management Analyst at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc.; and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso.

Ms. Mansuri holds a Master of International Business Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle.
