For Immediate Release
USAID, together with FHI 360, is hosting the first West Africa Digital Development Forum on Monday, January 26, 2015 in Accra, Ghana. The rapid proliferation of affordable mobile phones and deepening access to the Internet is transforming the world and reshaping how governments and organizations engage with citizens. This one-day event will celebrate the progress made in several critical areas of innovation in West Africa, and drive the conversation on technology-enabled development in the region.
Through an engaging mix of panel discussions and TED-style lightning talks, the forum will highlight innovative programs, business models, and partnerships from across the region.
The forum is also an exciting opportunity to meet and interact with over 100 people from the digital technology and international development communities, including local technology firms, USAID implementing partners, donors, and others who are using digital technologies to transform development in West Africa.
Space is limited. Register here to attend.
