This global competition will award four prizes of up to $500,000 for innovative science and technology solutions to fight this increasingly serious crime.
Results from a recent research study on land rights were released last week at a workshop in Hanoi. The workshop also introduced the Vietnam Land Access for Women program, through which the survey was conducted in two provinces. The LAW project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) and the Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS).

HANOI, March 10, 2015 -- The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has launched the Emerging Pandemic Threats 2 (EPT-2) program to support efforts in Vietnam to better prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats. This program is closely aligned with the key objectives of the governments’ partnership on the Global Health Security Agenda and Vietnam’s adoption of the International Health Regulations.
