Lashkar Gar, Helmand Province: Local business owners attended the Third Afghan Business Conference where they met with American, British, Danish, and Estonians to find out hot to make successful bids on local contracts. The aim is to cut out the middleman and get contracts to local companies, a keystone to reconstruction of local economy.
