Since 2000, USAID West Bank and Gaza has built or renovated 3,500 classrooms, 300 computer labs, and 290 libraries in girls' schools; trained 1,500 female teachers and principals; and provided 1,300 scholarships, improving the learning environment to more than 236,000 female students.
