Jeremiah Magaja is a rice farmer in the Kilombero district. USAID’s NAFAKA training allowed him to become a certified seed farmer, which multiplied his income. Learning good agricultural practices empowered Jeremiah to become not just a farmer, but a business owner. NAFAKA’s program is part of the greater Feed the Future mission to reduce poverty and hunger in Tanzania through improved health and agricultural practices.
