On September 28, 2016, American Ambassador to Tunisia Daniel Rubinstein travelled to Kssour Essaf in Mahdia Governorate to highlight the U.S. Government's commitment to supporting inclusive economic growth, competitiveness, and job creation throughout Tunisia.

While in Mahdia, the Ambassador attended a ceremony marking the signing of a partnership agreement between the Tunisian American Enterprise Fund (TAEF) and the Société Tunisienne de Traitement de Grignons d’ Olives (STTGO).

Ambassador Rubinstein also had the opportunity to discuss U.S.-supported activities with H.E. Governor of Mahdia Mohamed Bouden, and to learn about the work of the Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship at their social innovation space, LINGARE, in Mahdia.
