In Kenya, the American people are investing in the largest youth program in the world, Yes Youth Can, through USAID. The program has served as a catalyst for one million Kenyan youth, age 18 - 35, to organize themselves in 15,000 village bunges, or youth parliaments. The Mariaini Village bunge in Central Kenya is representative of the transformative effect bunges are having on communities across Kenya.
