Recent data reported states that women comprise 74% of the Paraguayan workforce. Agriculture is a significant component of Paraguay´s economy with approximately 45% of Paraguay´s workforce being employed in agriculture. In order Paraguayan female farmers to contribute meaningfully to their families, communities and economy, they need opportunities to engage in financially viable labor and have access to education and training.
