The goal of CAWSA is to improve the water supply systems in selected municipalities.  During its extended period, CAWSA will focus on Kandahar and four satellite towns. CAWSA also works closely with Afghanistan’s central authority for water supply and sewage, provincial water departments, and other donors to commercialize the urban water sector, increase cost recovery, and improve management.
