WASHINGTON, D.C. – On November 15, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance Nancy Lindborg will travel to the Philippines to assess the devastation of the typhoon that has recently hit the region.
Assistant Administrator Lindborg will be in the Philippines November 17-18 traveling between Tacloban and Manila to meet with senior US, UN, and Philippine officials. She will observe multilateral, interagency, and USAID relief operations. She will also tour distribution centers to determine additional humanitarian aid relief.
