U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Assistant Administrator for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment Charles North will travel to Ottawa, Canada, June 6-7, 2017, for a board meeting of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).

In Ottawa, Acting Assistant Administrator North will serve as the United States' representative on the GPE Board of Directors. GPE is a multi-stakeholder partnership and funding platform that aims to strengthen education systems in developing countries in order to dramatically increase the number of children who are in school and learning.
