WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Susan Fritz will travel to Ukraine and Moldova from June 7 - 12, 2015. Acting Assistant Administrator Fritz's visit will include meetings with civil society, international partners, local beneficiaries, as well as USAID and embassy staff.
This will be Acting Assistant Administrator Fritz's first visit to these countries in her new capacity. In Ukraine, she will focus on USAID's ongoing efforts to support Ukraine's political and economic reforms, including constitutional reform, decentralization, rule of law, anti-corruption, energy, agriculture reform, and the financial sector. In Moldova, Fritz will meet with civil society representatives and local partners and focus on USAID's anti corruption, rule of law and economic development programs. In the face of critical challenges, Fritz plans to reaffirm the United States' commitment to work with our partners in both Ukraine and Moldova to promote stable, democratic, resilient and prosperous societies.
