For Immediate Release
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) recently announced a Legacy Fellowship program at a ceremony honoring Anita Datar and other fallen staff of USAID's Implementing Partners. In partnership with Palladium, USAID will host the inaugural Legacy Fellows as a tribute to Anita Datar who tragically died in the line of duty while furthering the work of Palladium and USAID's mission in Mali in November 2015.
The Legacy Fellowship celebrates the legacy of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to support development across the globe and will provide fellows with practical and professional experience in fields related to the work of USAID.
"Palladium is honored to partner with USAID to initiate the Legacy Fellowship program in honor of Anita Datar," said Palladium President Ed Abel. "We believe that this is a fitting tribute to her memory and to the outstanding quality of the contributions made to international development by all those engaged in our mission to improve the lives of those we serve."
