U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Administrator Wade Warren will travel to Miami, Florida, to participate in the Conference on Prosperity and Security in Central America, to be held June 15-16, 2017. The Conference is co-hosted by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Government of Mexico.

While in Miami, Acting Administrator Warren will meet with high-level officials from Mexico and Central America, as well as business leaders, to address economic, security, and governance challenges and opportunities in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. USAID is working with governments, civil society, and the private sector in the region to combat crime and violence, address corruption and impunity, and provide greater economic opportunities to foster an environment in which Central American families can envision bright, secure futures at home.

Warren will be accompanied by Sarah-Ann Lynch, Acting Assistant Administrator for USAID's Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean.
