WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Administrator Al Lenhardt is in Colombia through April 21. He is accompanied by Acting Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean Beth Hogan.
Acting Administrator Lenhardt is in Colombia to meet with government officials, business leaders, and civil society, including Afro-Colombian and indigenous leaders. While in Colombia, he will participate in a forest conservation meeting; visit a USAID program that works to reintegrate former child soldiers; and attend a job training project for Bogota's at-risk youth.
