WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Director of the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives J. Mark Brinkmoeller will travel to Rome, Italy on April 11-13, 2016.
Brinkmoeller will attend a consultation co-organized by UNAIDS, PEPFAR, and Caritas International titled "Early Diagnosis and Treatment for HIV-positive children: Strengthening Engagement of Faith-based Organization." The aim of the event is to convene faith-based organizations, multilateral and bilateral agencies, and other stakeholders to discuss the current efforts to provide early diagnosis and treatment of children living with HIV and to develop a focused collaboration and action plan for the faith-based community and key stakeholders.
