Manager of Laki Farm explains the milk quality data
USAID Advancing Kosovo Together - Prime

Morning for some is 8AM but for a farmer 8AM is midday, as we were told during a visit to Laki Farm, a goat cheese processor in Zvecan on a cold December day. The visit to Kosovo’s northern municipalities was the last USAID field trip for 2016 and it gave USAID Mission Director James Hope and his team an opportunity to meet with many of the beneficiaries in northern Kosovo.

During his stay Hope also met with representatives of Multi-ethnic Network of Women Entrepreneurs and visited the Vuk Karadzic primary school in Zvečan/Zveçan.  In the afternoon Hope officially inaugurated two business projects in the Leposavic/q municipality:  the Monter B and Milos and Marta companies both benefitted from grants that enabled them to purchase new equipment to increase their production quality. USAID invested approximately $55,000 through these grants, administered through USAID Advancing Kosovo Together and USAID EMPOWER Private Sector

The day also included a meeting with other donors operating on the north and a discussion about further integration and support to this part of Kosovo.
