The Advocacy and Partnerships Adviser guides the Health Office on a range of advocacy and strategic partnership issues. The Adviser will facilitate partnership and agreements with various stakeholders (public and private) based on Health Office priorities and will ensure cross-cutting and collaboration within and across the various teams in order to connect resources, share best practices and enable most efficient and effective utilization of resources. S/he will engage the private sector, senior policy makers at the state and national level, implementing partners and other institutions to achieve the desired impact.
Based in USAID’s Health Office, the Communications and Program Management Adviser is a critical member of the team providing program management, communications and monitoring and evaluation support. The Adviser is responsible for a broad range of consultative, advisory, activity management, monitoring, and information gathering functions. The Adviser is responsible for completing analyses, maintaining relationships, communicating with other development partners, GOI entities, other USG agencies, and USAID senior management, overseeing diverse USAID/W activities, and representing the Health Office on programmatic, communications, budget and monitoring and evaluation issues.
Based in USAID/India’s Health Office, the Infectious Diseases (ID) Adviser will ensure well-coordinated and effective delivery of technical and program support across the USAID’s infectious diseases portfolio, which includes Tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS and other emerging infectious diseases (EID) of pandemic threats. The ID Adviser serves as a critical member of the team completing analyses, maintaining relationships, and representing to the Health Office on a range of technical, programmatic, policy, and budget issues. S/he provides senior-level guidance on research, advisory and related consultative services of broad scope and complexity in the field of infectious diseases. The ID Adviser is responsible for designing, managing and evaluating major project initiatives that focus on demand for, supply of and supportive policy environment for infectious diseases.

The Project Management Speclialist (Reporductive Health and Family Planning Advisor) position is located in the Health Office (HO) of USAID/India and incumbent works under the supervision of the Team Leader, Family Health Division. The incumbent serves as a Project Management Speclialist and the principal Reporductive Health and Family Planning Advisor for the HO’s overall goal of improving the health of vulnerable populations in India.
