Paraguay's Ministry of Health recently launched Akuerapp, a mobile application prepared with USAID’s technical assistance that allows citizens locate hospitals, and access information on available specialties, physicians and medicine supplies available.  Additionally, Akuerapp allows citizens to file complaints on services provided, physicians not coming to work, or unavailable drugs, among other failures in the public health system.
