In December 2013, more than 20 NGOs learned the real value of monitoring and evaluating the work they do for donors such as USAID. 

 

“What I find most significant is that up until now NGOs, in their work and evaluation, did not focus on the ways their campaigns changed society, but rather on the immediate results of their campaigns,” said participant Dario Jovanovic, project coordinator for the Centers for Civic Initiatives, which implements USAID’s Civil Society Sustainability Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
