Annual Program Statement (APS) for Fiscal Year 2014 Informational Meeting

USAID's Office of Conflict Mitigation and Management (CMM) has issued its Annual Program Statement (APS) for Fiscal Year 2014, solicitation number APS-OAA-14-000003, which can be found on the following website: http://www.grants.gov/. This funding opportunity makes use of special funds set aside by Congress each year to address conflict in countries throughout the world, also known as the FY2014 Reconciliation Fund APS.

Thailand has been included as one of the countries eligible to receive applications for people-to-people programming, specifically promoting activities in support of peaceful reconciliation in the Deep South.

Applicants from local civil society organizations in Thailand as well as international organizations are eligible to apply for these funds. Program details specific to Thailand are provided in Attachment 1 of the APS.

The deadline for submission of applications is March 28, 2014. Applicants must submit a complete applications package in line with all the details outlined at the following website:

We also will be providing further information for interested organizations at an informational meeting to be held in Bangkok on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. The meeting will be hosted at Athenee Tower, 25th Floor, 63 Wireless Road, Lumpini, Patumwan in Bangkok from 9:30am-11:30am

Organizations are encouraged to review the full APS to become familiar with the instructions as well as the Thailand specific requirements. Organizations who are interested in participating in the APS should submit their questions by 5pm on Thursday, March 6, 2014, to allow USAID to prepare our responses in advance of the informational meeting. Organizations have the option to call in or send someone to represent them at the meeting. Organizations planning to attend in person should send the names of up to two (2) representatives to USAID by 5pm on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
