Gender considerations need to be built-in into the following most critical elements that are required to come together, interact, and work effectively to contribute to the achievement of the SCHS project objective: effective leadership, political will, advocacy, and policy; a robust financing mechanism; a well-trained and adequately paid workforce; reliable information on which to base decisions and policies; well-maintained facilities and logistics to deliver quality medicines and technologies; results-based Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E); and a culture of knowledge-based learning.
