Program Description:
KIDSS addresses the needs of orphans and vulnerable children, and strengthens family and community networks for coordinated care.
Program Objectives:
• Improve parenting and family investment to address the essential needs of children in their care.
• Increase the use of essential services by program beneficiaries that will result in the improved wellbeing of children orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS.
Expected Results:
• Increased family access to savings and credit
• Increased and/or diversified family incomes
• Increased household knowledge and capacity to identify and access essential health, educational and social services
• Increased availability of community-based health, educational and social services for orphans and vulnerable children
