More than 100 government officials from 20 nations in Asia and the Pacific, including some of the region’s least developed countries, are meeting with donor institution representatives in Siem Reap this week to learn how to strengthen their public financial management systems to better access and handle financing for climate change adaptation projects. Organized by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the two-day USAID Adapt Asia-Pacific Third Annual Forum is a platform for participants to share experiences and identify solutions to climate financing challenges.

“Being LGBT in Asia” is a ground-breaking, first-of-its-kind joint analysis conducted by USAID and UNDP alongside grassroots LGBT organizations and community leaders to understand the challenges faced by Asia’s LGBT people. Guided by a Senior Asian LGBT Advisory Group, and implemented in eight focus countries and 10 additional jurisdictions, the initiative aims to educate and raise awareness among stakeholders about LGBT rights and the benefits of an inclusive approach to the development process.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Resultant award is subject to the availability of funds.
